Richard ALAN REID is a British actor, writer and comedian. He is best known for his roles in the 2011 movie WILLIAM AND KATE, as Prince William's troublemaking best-friend Derek, the Rom-Com hit LOVE WEDDING MARRIAGE, where he played Mandy Moore's brother Ian, alongside Kellan Lutz, Jane Seymour and James Brolin and the comedy ALWAYS WOODSTOCK (2014) with Brittany Snow, Katey Segal and Rumor Willis.

He recently finished filming CRIMINAL with Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Ryan Reynolds and Tommy Lee Jones, and also this year worked briefly alongside Helen Mirren in The Weinstein Company's WOMAN IN GOLD with Katie Holmes, Charles Dance and Ryan Reynolds again.
 
Another Weinstein Company film he just wrapped is the highly anticipated TULIP FEVER, with Judi Dench, Christoph Waltz, ZachGalifinakis, Jack O'Connell and Dane DeHaan. 

Richard's other film credits include Renny Harlin's LEGEND OF HERCULES (2014), Sony Picture's AUSTENLAND (2013) directed by Jerusha Hess (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, NACHO LIBRE) and MURDER ELEVEN (2012). Richard also featured as Robert Epplund in the TV series NCIS.
